What We Do

Advocacy & Community Involvement

As one of the most active and organized neighborhood associations in the City of Lincoln, it is important for the CCNA to be involved in the community and stay informed on the issues. The Mayor’s Office, Public Works Department, Department of Roads, and the Parks & Recreation Department regularly keep the Association informed on projects that will impact our neighborhood. In addition, CCNA Board Member Jennifer Powell serves as our official representative at the Mayor’s Neighborhood Roundtable Committee.

Sometimes, it is imperative that CCNA take a formal position on an issue and deliver this opinion to the Mayor’s Office. Other times, we simply share the information with other residents through the Chronicle and other means. Whatever the project may be, CCNA will remain vigilant and work to preserve and protect our beautiful neighborhood, as we have done since our founding in 1986.
